Peanut Butter and Chocolate Delights
Another simple and tasty treat in my sweet-n-salty series and you know how much I love a good Peanut Butter and Chocolate Delight combination!

Ritz crackers
Creamy peanut butter (Jif or Skippy)
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 tsp Crisco
Directions
- Place a layer of peanut butter in between 2 Ritz crackers to make a “sandwich”. Repeat 5 times
- In a small glass mixing bowl (or other microwave safe bowl), place chocolate chips with Crisco on top
- Microwave for 1 minute on high and stir. Stir and microwave for an additional 30 seconds. Stir until mixture is smooth (no lumps!)
- Cover the “sandwiches” with the chocolate mixture (top, bottom and sides) and place on wax paper or in regular sized baking cups
- Allow for sandwiches to set at room temperature before serving
Notes
- DO NOT substitute the Crisco with oil, margarine or butter. The consistency will be off and it won’t set or smooth as it should
